Full Wrap Vs. Partial Wrap

When it comes to vehicle wraps, nothing comes close to transforming your company vehicles into a moving billboard. A wrap will allow you to promote anywhere, anytime! A good design will attract and generate interested customers and will make a long lasting impression of your business that is hard to miss! When wrapped correctly, a wrap will last for years! making a very low cost form of advertising tool for your business when comparing it to other forms of advertising like commercials and and billboards. A vehicle wrap can be done in two ways, as a full wrap and as a partial wrap. Let’s dig into both options so you can see which option is better for you.

Full Vehicle Wraps

When we do full vehicle wraps, we apply the printed vinyl to your entire exterior of your automobile, including the sides, roof, hood, and windows. Except on larger vehicles like cargo vans, we don’t do the roof because they’re typically not seen.

Partial Vehicle Wraps

In a partial vehicle wrap, we only cover a portion of your car, truck, van or trailer. Partial wraps are commonly done by applying vinyl to the rear are of the vehicle, some of the sides and little bit on the hood, depending on the artwork. Some people think a partial wrap may seem or have the appearance of being unfinished, but that not typically the case with us. We try to integrate a design that will compliment the paint colors and overall look and feel of your car so that it doesn’t have the unfinished appearance.

Partial Wrap vs. Full Wrap – Which is better?

So now that we know the difference between a full wrap and a partial wrap, which one is better? Honestly, both wrap methods are an effective form of advertising. While one being cheaper than the other, they can both be excellent choices for telling your brand’s story and attaining new customers for your business.

Partial wraps are more economical than a full wrap since less material is being used. But the good thing is that it may allow you to easily tweak your message without affecting the entire wrap of your car. This is great for periodical changes when you have upcoming special events or promotions.

A full wrap covers every square inch of your car and turns it into a very effective form of advertising for your business. It will practically change the color of your car completely, while on the other hand a partial wrap will still show most of the original color/paint of your car.
